Space and Facilities
  • A carpeted hall (11.5m x 5.9m) with a ceiling height of 2.7m at the centre, sloping to 2.4m at the edge.
  • A kitchen with a fridge, large electric cooker, small microwave, two electric kettles and an urn. A serving hatch opens on to the main area of the hall.
  • Separate male and female toilets and an accessible toilet with nappy changing facility
  • Two storage cupboards where chairs and tables are stored with a small amount of shelving. 
  • In the kitchen is crockery, glasses and cutlery enough for 50.

Numbers and events
The hall can accommodate up to 50 people, depending on the type of event. 

Wi-fi
 Access to Broadband via wi-fi is available in the hall, free of charge.

Parking
 There is a small car park to the side of the hall which can accommodate about six vehicles. There are limited opportunities for on-street parking. However, there are two free car parks on the edge of the Linear Park which are within a few minutes’ walk of the hall. Vehicles may be left there at the owners’ discretion.  The postcode for the Village Hall is MK6 3AD.

Cost
The standard hourly rate to hire the hall is £20. Charities can benefit from a reduced rate of £15 per hour.  If you are a resident of Simpson and Ashland, then the hourly rate is £12.50 (proof of address required).

​Feasibility Study

In 2021 the Parish Council instructed a local Architect to carry out a feasibility study looking into the possible improvements that could be made to the Village Hall.
