Space and facilities

The main part of the hall is a rectangular space 11.5 metres by 5.9 metres. Most of the hall is 2.7 metres high, tapering to 2.4 metres at the walls. To one side is a kitchen with a fridge, large electric cooker, small microwave, electric kettle and urn. The sink has a double draining board. A serving hatch opens on to the main area of the hall. There are ample three-pin electric sockets throughout the hall.

The front of the hall is close to the road and the door is reached by steps or a ramp which gives access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Off the entrance foyer are toilets, including one suitable for wheelchair users. There is a wall-mounted baby changing unit in the disabled toilet.

Tables and chairs are stored in the two rooms to the right of the serving hatch.  Eight large tables measure 182 x 69 cms and five smaller ones measure 122 x 69 cms. There are 2 child-size tables. There are three styles of adult seats and 12 child-size plastic seats.

The kitchen has crockery and cutlery for general use. There are approximately: 70 coffee mugs; 60 wine glasses; 25 high-ball glasses; 20 medium-sized plates; 100+ tea plates; a good number of knives, forks and spoons.

Numbers and events

The hall can accommodate up to about 60 people, depending on the type of event. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate teenage parties.

Wi-fi

Access to Broadband via wi-fi is available in the hall, free of charge.

Parking

There is a small car park to the side of the hall which can accommodate about six vehicles; those parked closest to the road have to leave first in order for the other vehicles to get out.

As the hall is in the middle of a residential area there are limited opportunities for on-street parking. However, there are two free car parks on the edge of the Linear Park which are within a few minutes’ walk of the hall. Vehicles may be left there at the owners’ discretion. Postcode for sat nav is MK6 3AD.
